Concept
For He Can Creep presents a dark, poetic world set in 18th century London, where myth, literature, and the supernatural converge into a richly atmospheric setting.
Working as part of the Polygon Pictures team, I contributed to the art direction, helping define a visual identity that captures the tension between the grounded physical world and the surreal presence of the supernatural, supporting the narrative’s tone and thematic depth.

The visual development focused on translating traditional illustration techniques into a fully digital pipeline, combining hatching, painterly textures, and procedural workflows to achieve a cohesive and expressive style. Care was taken to maintain visual richness and consistency, ensuring that the handcrafted quality remained present throughout the world.
The intention was to create a world that feels intimate and tactile, where illustration-driven aesthetics enhance the narrative’s poetic tone and reinforce the contrast between fragility and the unseen forces shaping it.
